Week Starting 26th Jan




 A lot has changed in the last week.

Firstly, thank you for all the amazing and kind support for our new club, TRX Wolves AC. You can find us here: TRX WOLVES AC

I think I have already covered the reasons why we set up the new club, so I will not go into that again here.

We have applied for, and in some cases already been accepted into, a number of male and female cross-country leagues. We will also be at the relays and competing in lots of open races. Alongside this, we will be hosting a Spring/Summer series of races.

So, if you want a fresh start, something exciting, and to be part of a great group of people, come and join us. Membership opens on 1st February:

First Claim £40

Second Claim and Social £10

The only real change that may affect some of you is that, to train with TRX Wolves AC: Renegades, you now need to join the club, either as First Claim or Second Claim. The cost of Second Claim and Social membership helps support the club and ensures you are insured, which is now required as we are accredited to England Athletics.

If you are not already a member of an England Athletics registered club and do not want to race as an EA club member, you can simply join us as a Social member.

That said, if you want to join us as First Claim and help us progress through the leagues and divisions, we would absolutely love that.

Now onto this week’s training:

Tuesday

Warm up and ready to go at 6.50pm, Knight Avenue.

10 x 700m loop with 90 seconds recovery (walk).

Marathoners (sorry), 10 minutes tempo afterwards.


Saturday

Warm up and ready to go at 9.50am, Compton Park fields.

8 minutes tempo on the flat top field.

Pyramid: 1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 1 / 1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 1, all on the top field.
